  What do all the pros use to make those great looking videos on YouTube? Maybe they have a $5000 camera, expensive editing software, tons of crew members, and all that. Well, probably so, but that doesn't mean that the newbie or little guy like us has to suffer. With the tools you already have you can create a fine looking product right there in your own house. Green screen (bed sheet or poster board) check, iPhone check, iMovie (free) check. Now lets get to filming. With sites like pexels.com and unsplash.com you can download free images and videos to make any production look top notch. iMovie allows you to use those images and videos for backgrounds by simply adding them to your timeline, then put your iPhone video on top, now in the top corner of the editing software you'll see two rectangles overlaying each other, click there and then click green/blue screen. Now each of those tools allows you to fine tune the background image. Play around with it and you will be a pro in

  When I tell someone that I have a YouTube Channel I get one of two responses. Really, that's cool where can I find it? Or, there is no way I would put myself online like that for the world to make fun of.  Now, most people would absolutely love to be able to create videos and photographs from nothing. Maybe not to put online, but just be able to do it. It really isn't all that hard to take a picture or video from a phone that everyone has in their pockets. But, to be able to edit, upload, label, tag, monitor, and keep going each week is a different story. So, should you start a YouTube channel in 2020? I would have to say yes. If you have a passion to create and want the world to know it then by all means create, create, and then create. Just do it! What are you waiting for? Using LumaFusion to edit you videos can be an amazing experience. Just sit back and think of the way video used to be edited. Literally sitting in a room and cutting actual film and overlaying real film for effects. Then using computers and software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple iMovie or Final Cut Pro X. Now here we are today using LumaFusion on a mobile device and realizing that this editor is just as powerful as any desk top editing software.  In this video I will teach you how to use LumaFusion on your iPad. I cover every single step from importing, green screen, music, titles, and exporting. This software is a great alternative to Final Cut or Premiere Pro but not a full on replacement. The fact that Premiere Pro and Final Cut have After Effects and Motion makes a bit of a difference. But still yet, do not be fooled by the price and the fact that this is mobile software. LumaFusion is a beast to work with and can cut through even 4K footage with ease.   

  Apple Motion is the Apple alternative to Adobe After Effects. At a one price cost of $50 this software packs a punch. With built in effects as well as the ability to design your own effects and titles the $50 price tag is well worth it. This software has motion tracking, camera angles, lighting effects, filters, overlays, and more. Watch the video above to learn your first effect and go from there. If you get into the software and navigate around for a bit then you will be a wiz in no time.  After you get used to the software, you can use this to create stunning effects and titles to up your video editing game. Although this is no replacement for Adobe After Effects, this software is much cheaper and one price. It can also do most of the things After Effects can do with no problem. Try it out and I am sure you’ll enjoy the program as well as the price.
