There is NO time like NOW to begin looking around the stores for school supplies. New clothes and shoes, maybe some paper and pens, and of course some technology. But wait.... as you look over the giant sea of tablets and laptops you may become overwhelmed by the huge selection. No problem. Just head over to the local apple store and pick up an iPad or MacBook. In this video I compare the two devices to help you decide if one triumphs over the other for your needs this fall. Both are excellent choices of course but the iPad can be a scanner, camera, note taker, web browser, notebook, art canvas, instrument, studio, and more. The MacBook is a powerhouse for pro level photo editing, video editing, and other desktop exclusive software. The MacBook is also a great machine for typing up documents or papers and conducting research for those papers just like the iPad. Apple Keynote March 27, 2018 Today, March 27, 2018 Apple announced a new iPad! A few things seem clear to me about this particular announcement. One thing that sticks out is that Apple is really pushing the iPad. On Apples website we see a picture of the new iPad in gold with an Apple Pencil lying in front of it. The caption for the picture says “Like a computer. Unlike any computer” (Apple, 2018). The story goes on the explain that if the computer had been invented today, then it would be an iPad. It seems that everyone was right, Apple wants to faze out the Mac line and push more mobile devices.           The new iPad will feature an undated storage for both students and standard consumers. The student model comes with 200 GB and standard with 32 GB, plus it does support Apple Pencil. A new series of apps for students is also available on the new iPad also.
