$45 Emtec X200 256GB External Solid State Drive

  Oh My!! This little SSD might be tiny and lightweight but don’t let that fool you, it packs one heck of a punch!!! I purchased the Emtec X200 256GB version of this device at Walmart thinking it would come in handy since I currently use a 1TB Seagate External Hard Drive and a few thumb drives of various sizes. With the fact that my 1TB Seagate could fail me at anytime since it has moving parts and thumb drives are pilling up around the house I wanted to try out my first external SSD. These little beauties are notoriously expensive for even the smallest GB size and up until yesterday I couldn’t bring myself to drop a pile of money since my other storage practices had been working.   I made a purchase about 6 months ago and needed to share my findings with the world. Since I had filled up a 32 gig thumb drive with my YouTube videos I decided to go looking for a larger capacity way to file my videos. Walking the isles of my local Wal-Marts electronic section and then heading over to Target I found tons of external HDDs that I knew nothing about.
