Well, probably so, but that doesn't mean that the newbie or little guy like us has to suffer. With the tools you already have you can create a fine looking product right there in your own house. Green screen (bed sheet or poster board) check, iPhone check, iMovie (free) check. Now lets get to filming. With sites like pexels.com and unsplash.com you can download free images and videos to make any production look top notch. iMovie allows you to use those images and videos for backgrounds by simply adding them to your timeline, then put your iPhone video on top, now in the top corner of the editing software you'll see two rectangles overlaying each other, click there and then click green/blue screen. How To Create a Free Stop Motion Video

 In this video I will show you a step by step process to create a free stop motion animation or film. These steps require three apps from the App Store. You will need iMovie, SketchBook, and Photoshop Mix. All three apps are free as I mentioned and are required to make this work for an animation. By using the Sketchbook and Photoshop Mix app you can add a green screen effect even if you don’t own a green screen. This is a fun way to pass time and be creative. Let your imagination go with this and create something great.

Looking back at the post about iPad Pro use for creatives I decided to take a stronger look into iMovie. Since even a $300-$400 entry level iPad can run iMovie without any trouble and this software is free, anyone can be creative on a budget. The software comes with some great effects for creating movies, presentations, trailers, and more. The titles effects and chroma key are easy to learn and use as well as the interface is user friendly to navigate. The iPad comes with the Apple iWork Suite of software like Pages, Numbers. and Keynote. These are all equivalents to the Office Suite form Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. However, many don’t realize that Apple also gives users the creative apps of GarageBand and iMovie for free as well.
