A Day at the Zoo

Image
Hovatters Wildlife Zoo is located in Preston County West Virginia. The zoo hosts multiple animals and allows for close up encounters with many. We took a day and visited the zoo and had a wonderful experience. The zoo also has picnic areas and rides for kids. If you are ever in WV take the time to visit Hovatters Wildlife Zoo, you won’t be disappointed.

Beats Flex Review

Image
The other day I was driving to the gym and realized I didn’t have my earbuds. Oh no! Those long walks on the treadmill and long rides on the bike are gonna take forever without some sweet tunes bouncing around in my head. Well, luckily I had a few bucks to my name and stopped by the local Walmart. I found a pair of Beats Flex earbuds for just $50 and thought to myself why not.  These earbuds pair just like Apple AirPods and sound great. The bass is not all that good as with most wireless earbuds but the noise cancelation does a great job equalizing out the sound. I even made a call using these just to hear the phone quality and was impressed. Check out my review for more.

YouTubers Home Studio Tour

If you ever wondered what it takes to be a writer, youtuber, podcaster, and photographer I am about to show you. Over the years I have gained quite a collection of equipment to use to produce videos and podcasts. In this video I give you a tour of my home studio where all the magic happens. Hope you enjoy it and maybe even get inspired to create some art yourself.

Flawed (Short Suicide Prevention Film)

Image
This is a short film I made while attending Full Sail University. Although not a perfectly made film I feel that it was a labor of love and deserved to be shown. The film covers the depression cycle of Bipoilar Disorder and the suicidal thoughts of the sufferer. Many people do not understand the affects this illness has not only on the ill individuals but also their families.  I have been diagnosed as Bipolar type two since 14 years of age so this film was truly made from the heart.

ONN 7 inch Tablet Review

Image
The Surf Onn Gen 2 7 inch tablet from Walmart is exactly what you'd expect from a Walmart tablet. The screen is decent but not great and the apps tend to crash from time to time. I bought the base model for $49 and got 2gb of RAM and 16gb of internal storage that was actually 11 from the pre installed apps.  As for usage the tablet performed well enough to be considered a nice entry level tablet and I feel the kids could use this as a cheap dedicated YouTube machine. Although folks who already have a taste for the big boy toys like the iPad or Samsung tablets may find this to be a toy.  Would I recommend this for anyone? Yes, surprisingly I would. This is a perfect entry level tablet for those who have a tight budget and need a machine to get online with for school, entertainment, kids enjoyment, or to simply apply to jobs, email, and other personal needs. This tablet will get the job done as long as its light work.
