Apple Rumors For 2018

What is new for Apple this year? How does the company plan on packing enough punch to beat last years releases? Lets take a look into the rumor mill that is surrounding this falls releases. 

So many have speculated that Apple will refresh the iPad mini and call it the iPad mini Pro. Not sure if tis is a great idea being that iPad mini is just that, mini. I can’t think of to many pro users who would want the screen size that the mini has to offer. One thing that would be nice though is if the iPad mini did get a fresh update considering how it has been left on the back burner receiving minor updates since it’s launch. 

The iPhone X is rumored to be getting the plus treatment. For me this isn’t a major thing. I am not a fan of the full screen iPhone or it’s price tag. The screen on the iPhone is already the largest screen Apple has put on a phone and really doesn’t need to be larger. With a price tag of $1000, I’m sure if the it goes supersized, the price tag will go supersized as well. But either way the crowd has asked for it, so I’m sure Apple will answer. 

As for iOS, there have been many view points on this. I’ve actually read that Apple has been going crazy with constant updates on bug fixes for the past couple of years. This years release of iOS12 was supposed to be loaded with new features to make the OS and iOS systems even more compatible than they already are, but instead, my guess is the latest rumor that Apple is going to focus on a more stable iOS so they don’t have to release so many updates for bug fixes. 

MacOS will finally be able to run iOS apps. This is a very exciting feature rumored to be unveiled at the June event. Being able to access the iOS app store on a Mac has been a requested feature for some time now and Apple is about to make that wish a reality. Other than this rumor I haven’t read anything else for the MacOS. 

As far as Macs go in general, I have read that the new Mac Pro may make an appearance this year as well as the long awaited updated Mac mini. These two desktop machines have been on the back burner with no mention for way to long. Apple also released a rumor that the MacBook Air was still an important member of the family and will get some love in the near future (possibly at a cheaper price). 

Is Apple buying Netflix? Maybe, since the Time Warner deal is not happening some have suggested that Apple will buy Netflix.  I feel this isn’t going to happen anytime soon since the giant has been focusing more on AppleTV and even making its own shows. I’d be looking for big things in that market this year instead of the Netflix buy out. But again this just my opinion. I am in no way an Apple guru or genius. The Surf Onn Gen 2 7 inch tablet from Walmart is exactly what you'd expect from a Walmart tablet. The screen is decent but not great and the apps tend to crash from time to time. I bought the base model for $49 and got 2gb of RAM and 16gb of internal storage that was actually 11 from the pre installed apps.  As for usage the tablet performed well enough to be considered a nice entry level tablet and I feel the kids could use this as a cheap dedicated YouTube machine. I’m Attending Southern New Hampshire University Online

 Hello friends. I’ve been doing some thinking lately. Although I do have a job it’s just a part time job and that leaves me with some free time. The job that I have isn’t the job that I’d like to retire from for sure. I just haven’t been happy with where my life has taken me. I felt it was time to make a few changes. Well I got online and looked for the best online colleges that I could find. I found a few and even tried one that didn’t work out.  Southern New Hampshire University seemed to be a good fit. The cost was dramatically less than other online schools. It does have a brick and mortar school that can be attended. And the reviews for the school aren’t all horrible. In other words it isn’t a diploma mill.  I’m only in my first class so far and it is a class about cultural diversity. I guess that’s a pretty good class for someone majoring in psychology. Dollar Shave Club Six Blade Razor

 So I used to use Harrys razors. I used Harrys for quite a few years. Then something changed about the blades. They started cutting me and at times cutting me pretty bad. The moisturizing strip also started falling off all of the time. This was happening during the first shave of the blade too. I was having to change brand new blades all of the time. It got ridiculous. I decided I had enough of the Harrys razors and made the switch to Dollar Shave Club.  Now I am not going to say that everything I write or say about Dollar Shave Club will be the same experience you’ll get but maybe it will help you make a decision to try them out for yourselves. Now I read a ton of reviews about Dollar Shave Club six blade razor. Most of the reviews are negative unless you find the ones that are promotional reviews.
