Image
Audra State Park is located just outside of Philippi West Virginia. This park is an overnight camping park and boasts a boardwalk under the cave ledges that overhang the river that flows through the park. The park also has playgrounds and picnic areas as well. This is the perfect place to hang out for a day and enjoy the beautiful scenery and awesome views from the boardwalk or aka cave trail. You could also spend the night and walk the boardwalk early morning for some cool temps and sunrise views. This video features a walk through the caves and views of the river.  Check out the video above and please subscribe to the channel and blog for weekly adventures. We plan to bring better and better videos each week featuring our travels throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. We also want to head out to North Carolina and visit Mount Airy also know as Mayberry.

Depression and Bipolar

Image
I know I’ve mentioned in the past that I suffer form bipolar disorder. Well, I created a short video about the feelings of worthlessness and depression that come along with this illness. The video shares some of my own insights on how I feel and how I cope. Learning tho accept the gifts we as human beings have to share with the world is a start to recovery. I know there is no cure for bipolar disorder but there is treatment and medicine to help learn how to handle the stress. In this video we can see a small change in how I feel as the time progresses.  By simply going to work and being a husband and father I have self worth. By accepting that I am a  videographer and photographer, and that I can write and draw I have talents. These things give me self worth and a reason to be here and enjoy life. I can create things for others like drawings, poems, short stories, videos, and capture memories on digital formats to keep for a lifetime. I am someone. I am a human being with emotions and

RV Life Episode Two Tygart Lake State Park West Virginia

Image
This week we visited Tygart Lake State Park located in Grafton WV. This park has some beautiful sights and sounds. We saw one of the largest dams on the east coast as well as used some playground equipment to make us feel young again. The park boasts a 10 room lodge complete with a café and gift shop, a marina where you can store your boat or rent one, a beach area for swimming, multiple play areas, and a wildlife center. The lake itself is 1760 acres of water with 391 extra acres of shoreline and park area.  The campground is an astounding 30 lot campground with 10 lots complete with water and electric. The park also hosts multiple cabins for those who wish to shower and watch satellite TV while camping in comfort. With all of this who would want to leave after their maximum fourteen-day stay. Tygart Lake State Park is truly one of the best state parks in West Virginia. Visit this park soon, and you won’t be let down.

RVlife is Right Around The Corner

Living in West Virginia doesn’t give a person a lot to do. I decided to remedy this by doing what a lot of people have inspired me to do, hit the road and live the vanlife. That’s right, this year we are taking our show on the road. I will work on my website, youtube channel, podcast, and more form the road. We purchased a pop up camper and cleaned it out, decorated it, and now all we have to do is wait on the weather to say, go.  The camper is a 1996 Coleman by Fleetwood Santa Fe. It needed some serious cleaning when we purchased it as shown in the video but either way at the end of the video you can see it look real nice. We plan on hitting some serious places with it this spring and summer. Stay tuned and click the drop down box at the top of the page to support us on Patreon if you can.  Here’s the video of the beginning of our exciting journey by cleaning the camper and taking you on a tour.  RVLife Full Time  Hope you all enjoy our adventure as much as we will. We will keep you

Apple Store Visit Skit and Big Channel Update

Image
So I've been thinking a lot about this little video. I downloaded the images from a free image sharing sight called Unsplash.com and came up with an idea of visiting an Apple Store to actually buy a product. This isn't how it would be in real life but I feel that it would be similar.  As for the big news, my wife and I bought a pop up camper and are looking to travel during our off days from work. We have the luxury to actually have four to five days off and two to three days on each week. So any given week week we are off for four days minimum. I thought man, we could hit the road every week and have mini vacation in our camper for basically free. Then I got to thinking we could have a small travel series called van life or camper life on YouTube. What a great idea!!! Stay tuned for next week because next week will be the start to all of this.   Please check our podcast on the podcast page or where ever you listen to your podcast. Love of Technology

I was around the age of fourteen and the time was Christmas. The year was 1993 and I was super excited to receive the gift of all gifts. I knew that those large box’s under the Christmas tree had to be the one item I was longing for, the item I dreamed of owning, a real life computer. I dreamed of owning my very own computer since watching Doogie Howser write about his adventures in the medical field on his beautiful machine. Maybe I’m a nerd, then again maybe I’m not, but a new computer was surely in the works for me. Found On Unsplash.Com Of course opening this treat was one of the biggest thrills of my lifetime. I remember setting it up for the first time. All the hookups had been carefully attached and my new Tandy came with a set of discs with a series of programs on them. My brother tried to tell me that I had to enter the discs into the machine by numerical order but I knew he was wrong. Even my mom tried to agree with him. Mom I argued, “each disc is labeled with different pr

Can an iPad Replace My Computer

Image
What a question and also hard to believe its still a question. The latest iPads and accessories are built to be an alternative to the tradition computer or clamshell laptop. These devices are fast, powerful, and efficient machines with real work capabilities.  So why all the fuss? Those who don't believe are those who are tied to a specific type of software that can't be used on iPad. But don't worry, the software we are speaking of is for creative professionals and coding. For the majority of us this doesn't come into play at all and shouldn't be a factor in our decision. iPads can be a true traditional laptop or computer replacement for 99% of the population today.  These machine can be used for all types of office work, most types of creative work, and any type of leisure activity thrown at them. The iPad is just as capable as any Chromebook or budget laptop, as well as most middle tier laptops on the market today, possibly beating out some top tier laptops alon
