Harry's Shaving and Mens Grooming Products

Image
Wow, what can I say about Harry's. How this little company has grown to become a real contender in the mens grooming and bathing world. With awesome smelling products from body wash, to after shave lotions and balms this company deserves their spot in the bathrooms of every man in the world. Can they beat out other top brands? Maybe not quit yet but they are on the move and I mean move up.  I have been a loyal Harry's fan for almost ten years and not once have I strayed from this company. I have been using solely Harry's since my first experience. The products are cheaper and work perfectly. The body washes and bar soaps smell amazing, the shave lotions and gels are wonderful, and the after shave balms and mists leave you feeling cool and smelling great.  So if you've been looking for a new razor to try I would highly recommended Harry's. This company will not let you down in either the pre shaving or post shaving experience. Harry's has proven over and over th

ZINGYOU BM-800 Condenser Microphone Review and Setup

Image
Whats up readers? Its your boy David here again looking to entertain and educate you in all matters tech. This week we are looking into the ZINGYOU BM-800 condenser mic. Now I uploaded a video on my YouTube channel DnicholsonTV, but of course as usual I am bringing that video right here to the website for those who like to read articles as well as watch videos.  ZINGYOU BM-800 Condenser Microphone This is an awesome mic, no questions asked. The mic works like it is supposed to and does well for my podcast. The only thing that kinda made me question the quality was when I first purchased this mic it didn't work straight out of the box. I tried hooking this up to my MacBook and got no sound. It wasn't until after some research on my own part that I realized I needed to make another purchase to get the mic to power on and pick up sound.  Well that purchase was a 48V phantom power supply. This supply box costs around $20 and looks similar to an amp from a car stereo. You will also

If you'd like to have us answer a question on the podcast we can give you some much needed advice. Now on to the article at hand.  The beautiful Cinepeer Phone Gimbal is an excellent choice for a gimbal. I actually got this for a Christmas gift and have loved it since first trying it out. To use this gimbal all you need to do is download an app called ZY Play. The app will guide you through what you need to do. Just open the app, click on the drop down menu and select your device. $45 Emtec X200 256GB External Solid State Drive

Image
Oh My!! This little SSD might be tiny and lightweight but don’t let that fool you, it packs one heck of a punch!!! I purchased the Emtec X200 256GB version of this device at Walmart thinking it would come in handy since I currently use a 1TB Seagate External Hard Drive and a few thumb drives of various sizes. With the fact that my 1TB Seagate could fail me at anytime since it has moving parts and thumb drives are pilling up around the house I wanted to try out my first external SSD. These little beauties are notoriously expensive for even the smallest GB size and up until yesterday I couldn’t bring myself to drop a pile of money since my other storage practices had been working. When I saw the $45 price tag on this device I had to purchase it and try it out.  First off the brand is something I have never heard of. Honestly, who’s heard of Emtec before? I mean seriously tell me in the comments if you have. SanDisk, Seagate, WD and maybe a couple more that I can’t think of rule the nes

Podcasting For Beginners For Free

Image
What's going on dear, dear, readers? Today’s blog is all about podcasting. I realize I covered some of this a couple of weeks back but I just felt the need to go further into the whole idea of podcasting.  For quite a while I thought podcasting made zero sense. I was always like why would anyone want to be a podcaster when they could be a YouTuber? I was kinda on the same page as radio hosting. Why be a DJ or radio host when you could be on TV? It wasn’t until I tried my hand at podcasting until I was hooked on it just as much as I was at making a YouTube video. Podcasting is so much fun! With Podomatic.com you can easily become a podcaster and give it a try. You simply go to the website, create a FREE account, title, describe your show, and create your first episode. It really is that simple. Kinda like making a FaceBook page. With podomatic you can download an app for your device and record and upload episodes right there on your phone or tablet. Although I recommend doing thin

Wilson weBoost Cellphone Signal Booster Review

Image
Living in rural West Virginia means that for most people a cell signal anywhere close to home is only a dream. Living anywhere in West Virginia means a cell signal is either a drive away or a signal drop is the same story.  For me I live out a back road or as we call it out the holler. As I mentioned last week this means I have to use Hughsenet internet service. The fact that this type of internet is spotty at best means I need to rely more on my cell signal. In comes the Wilson weBoost. This is a device that magnifies any type of cell signal out of your home with a antenna and allows you to run it into the house via cables. Inside is a control center that mounts on the wall and an inside antenna.   By using this device shown in the video above I have managed to make and receive calls as well as surf the internet on a good day. To be honest my wife and I would be lost without our cell booster. The good people at Wilson have made the perfect gadget for any home out in the countrysides
