Dollar Shave Club Six Blade Razor

So I used to use Harrys razors. I used Harrys for quite a few years. Then something changed about the blades. They started cutting me and at times cutting me pretty bad. The moisturizing strip also started falling off all of the time. This was happening during the first shave of the blade too. I was having to change brand new blades all of the time. It got ridiculous. I decided I had enough of the Harrys razors and made the switch to Dollar Shave Club.  Now I am not going to say that everything I write or say about Dollar Shave Club will be the same experience you’ll get but maybe it will help you make a decision to try them out for yourselves. Now I read a ton of reviews about Dollar Shave Club six blade razor. Most of the reviews are negative unless you find the ones that are promotional reviews. I think that these negative reviews are from long time users of the club and are angry that they switched blades and handles. The old six blade razor was called the executive and the club d

Can My 12.9 inch M1 iPad Pro Replace my MacBook

Image
I am writing this article on my 12.9 inch M1 iPad Pro. I’ve been using this iPad for a few months now and have to say that it is the best iPad I have ever owned. It’s been my go to device for all sorts of things. I’d have to say that I love owning this iPad.  Can this iPad replace a laptop? Let’s look into that a little. For starters I am a true fan of Apple products. I am the proud owner of this 12.9 inch M1 iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard case, a 2018 15 inch Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro, an iPhone 11 (I know I need to upgrade), and an Apple HomePod. As you can see I try to be completely Apple.  The things I do on my iPad Pro are pretty simple for the most part. I write in my Zenn Journal, create thumbnails for my YouTube Videos, write for this website, work on my book, read books, do some light video editing in LumaFusion, surf the web, and edit my photos (can be seen in the photography page) in PixelMator Photo. My iPad can handle all of these tasks without breaking a sweat. The iPa

Mental Health Help

Image
I talked to my therapist yesterday and this is what we talked about. Good advice for those who suffer from depression and bipolar disorder. What he said really made me think about the way I have trained my brain to think. It could take a lot of work to retrain my brain but I am going to give it a try. What the video talks about is all about what a person should think and what words we shouldn't be using as people who suffer from mental health disorders.

Is Depression Your Fault

Image
h I used to listen to all the wrong people. I actually believed and still do at times that my mental illness was my own fault. Power through, push through, think about something else, there's nothing wrong with you, you don't look sick, I've heard them all. I was told I was lazy, no good, useless, worthless and more. I still to this day feel that way about myself. This video talks about how this isn't our fault and that we are just sick. Being sick isn't anyones fault it just happens. Except it, take medicine, go to therapy, and live the best that we can. We can only do what our bodies and minds will lets us do.

Surviving Suicide

Image
Suicide is a touchy subject but still needs to be discussed. Suicide affects millions around the world. What causes it? How do we stop it? In this video we look at these questions. I discuss signs of suicide as well as what it's like to face suicide. I am a suicide survivor and I want to share my experience with the world. Watch this video to learn more about suicide. If you are thinking about suicide then call the suicide prevention number in the video. Seek help immediately or go to the closest ER.

Depression Part 3

Image
Depression and Bipolar Disorder are real illnesses and can affect a life dramatically. In this video I talk about doing what you can, and not over doing it. I also discuss how being on a routine can help manage some of the symptoms of mental illness. July is disability pride month so lets celebrate the lives of those with a disability. Remember that people with a disability are people too. We need to come together and be the best we can be even with disabilities.

Overcoming Depression

Image
This week I decided to continue a series on depression. There are ways to help relieve some of the symptoms of depression. Finding a hobby or simply petting an animal can help overcome severe depression. In this video I discuss ways to overcome depression and help relieve some of the symptoms. I am no doctor nor am I a therapist but I live with chronic depression and bipolar disorder. I've lived with this since I was fourteen and I am now forty three. I know what depression is and I know what helps me. Sometimes depression wins while other times I can manage to force myself into doing something. I feel better after I use the tips from the video. Please watch and don't forget to subscribe.
